Ladli Behna Yojana 35th Installment: ₹1500 to Be Credited on This Date

The Government of Madhya Pradesh is set to bring good news for millions of women under the Ladli Behna Yojana. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will release the 35th installment of the scheme on April 12, 2026, during a public program in Ashta, Sehore district. Along with the financial transfer, the state government will also unveil and inaugurate several development projects worth crores.

₹1500 Direct Benefit to 1.25 Crore Women

Under this installment, more than 1.25 crore women beneficiaries will receive ₹1500 directly into their bank accountsthrough Direct Benefit Transfer. Earlier, the monthly assistance under the scheme was ₹1250, but the state government increased it to ₹1500 to provide stronger financial support.

This initiative has become one of the largest women-centric welfare programs in India. It aims to improve the financial independence of women, especially those from economically weaker sections.

Event to Be Held in Sehore’s Ashta

The installment will be released during a grand event in Ashta town of Sehore district. The Chief Minister will not only transfer funds but also address beneficiaries and highlight the government’s commitment to women empowerment.

The program is expected to witness participation from thousands of women, local representatives, and officials.

Development Projects Worth ₹184 Crore

Apart from the scheme installment, the Chief Minister will also dedicate and lay the foundation stone for multiple infrastructure and public welfare projects worth around ₹184 crore.

  • Construction of Sandipani School building in Ashta
  • Development of ghats on the Parvati River
  • Restoration of the Nevaz River in Javar
  • Primary Health Center in Mehatwada
  • Sub-tehsil building in Siddhiganj
  • Revenue office in Ashta
  • Bridge construction on Ashta Shujalpur road

Foundation Stone for Projects Worth ₹69 Crore

  • New school buildings and police housing
  • Hostel construction in Ichhawar
  • Roads and community buildings
  • Drinking water projects under AMRUT 2.0 scheme

In addition, urban development works such as RCC drainage, road widening, beautification, and vegetable market upgrades will also be carried out in Ashta.
